Noah Cardiel Holt | My life according to other people

Post nap outside needed now(ness).

(Alright..  I actually shot that before Noah’s nap, but it fits the story so stick with me.)

When Noah woke up from his nap on Saturday we took a trip to the bank and even though the bank is only a block and a half from our apt., Noah insisted we drive there.

I think this may count as a zero emission car though.

It’s hard to see the new wall color, it’s light grey, but here is the new look of Noah’s room.

I warned you that there would be another post about Noah bathing in Nana and Grampa Holt’s time machine/game show booth/showering experience.  It, and Noah, are too hard to pass up.

I read something once that basically said, after being in a space (apartment or house) more then 6 months, you no longer decorate.  We are bucking that stat and painting Noah’s room (finally, and with “no VOC paint“).  Not easy to clean, tape, and paint a room when the little man wants to run around.

I piled up his toys in the living room, but it only distracted him a little.

Nonplussed.

The moon is acting crazy lately.  It followed us on a quick trip to Crate and Barrel.

Back at home, Noah hinted that we should paint the hallway too.

Up until now, I had been Noah’s hair stylist.  The other weekend I passed the reigns to someone much more qualified, Lucus.

Noah was kind of ok with it, especially if he had something to chew.

Squirmer.

Thanks for making Noah a little more respectable Louis.

“You still feeling sick Noah?”

PSYCH!!  Lets go open some more presents!!!

Out to Emmett and Lisa’s we go for Urban Family Christmas!!

Gotta make sure the tree is still perfect.

Gotta make sure we get some attention from Nana.

Gotta catch up with Uncle Matt.

Then we gotta get to these presents.

Gotta steal some snacks to get the strength back up.

Time to get all these gifts together and head home.

Just to keep the warnings coming..  Warning!  My parents have a crazy shower/bath/jacuzzi/football watching/music listening/steaming booth in the basement which has a built in light show that is impossible to resist if you are looking for a place to photograph someone bathing (assuming you have their permission).  The warning?  You’ve probably seen this bath before, and you’ll probably see it again because Noah and I are psyched on it.

Big day.  Jesus Christ was born, Nana Holt was born, and someone brought us all these presents!!!  Craze.

Noah needed a quick cracker before tearing into the presents.

First one…

BOOTS!!  No more plastic bags!!

Auntie Mindy got a blanket, which is kind of like a Snuggie© but without arm holes.

Kate got a new grill pan, which she loved, but this was her expression for every present.  Genuine excitement with no hint of sarcasm. She has an amazing gift.

“This one is for you Nana.”

“This one is for you Auntie Mindy.”

Mittens!!

Mom was psyched for Noah to open this one.  What could it be?

Might as well dig in.

Puppets!!!

“Are these puppets my presents or yours?”

Nana got a new leather jacket.

The little present was for Grampa.  The big one was for Noah.

A busy morning led to an early nap.
