Isaac’s Birthday Bash!

Eating, Exercise, Friends, Partying, Psyched 2 Comments »

Last night was another party for one of Noah’s day care mates, Isaac.  I was worried Noah might not have as much fun because it started around dinner time…

…but he quickly forgot about being hungry.

It was at a local gym for kids and it was the first time I really got to see Noah play around on the equipment, even the stuff that was too big for him.

Isaac the birthday boy posterizing fools (no offense little girl).

Jojo and Violet, girls who also day care with Noah.

Noah laughing at a random girl staring into the corner.

Mocking random girl.

The bubble show lured the kids (and adults) into a room for pizza.

Birthday boy was into the pizza.

Sarah protected her cupcake from Noah a little better this time.

Mata with her dad and new sunglasses.

Thanks to Isaac and his parents for inviting us!!

Lucian’s Birthday

Last Sunday was a birthday party for Lucian (who “day-cares” with Noah), he turned 2.

“Wait..  it’s Sunday, how come I’m playing with everyone from day care?”

Lucian was blaming a (toy) truck for the shiner.

Isaac’s birthday is next week.

Amerie organizing the trains.

Noah telling Sarah how good the cupcakes are going to be.

Sarah eating a little too slow I guess.

Don’t look at me Sarah, I’m on the other side of the table.  Yell at Noah’s mom.

Lucian, and Amerie.

“Bye Sarah!”

Brooklyn Children’s Museum

We had been trying to make plans with Julia, Benoit, and Louis for a while.  They live close, we just couldn’t get it together until one rainy day in NYC when we met up with them at the new Brooklyn Children’s Museum.  Unfortunately, we weren’t the only parents who thought about going to the museum that day.

Louis and Noah went straight for the water.

Noah spent some time watching the other kids…

…and trying to stay out of the way, but he was into it.  (Look at the glistening neck.  I tried to give you some photos without the bib, but the drool comes quicker when Noah is having fun.)

Someone pretended to rob the pretend store.

Noah was psyched on the turtles.

Darpan’s Birthday

I thought maybe I’d stay in bed a while, but look at those two out there making a racket.  Not to mention there was a lot to do that day.  Look at those piles of laundry that we did out at Emmett and Lisa’s, those don’t fold themselves.

Noah is still psyched on his new chair from Nana and Opa.

Every year Kate’s friends from high school meet up after the holidays, using Darpan’s birthday as an excuse.

Sebastian (with his parents Michele and Dave) was there.

“Hey Sebastian, what’s going on behind you?  Is that the end of The Patriots dynasty?  Sure looks like it.”

Lou, Avi, and Maya.  All of probably Jets fans.  Probably heckling me.

Layla showing me the crayon tattoo she gave herself.

Dave teaching the kids proper driving techniques.

Caitlin showing Maya proper writing techniques.

As Noah woke he grunted softly, “I had a dream that The Pats were blowing it Dad.”  I gently rubbed his back and replied, “It wasn’t a dream my son.  It was a nightmare.”

Ellen and Austin get to see Layla’s drawing.

Cake!

Darpan was too slow at blowing out his candles.

Ryan’s pictures of the Mineola High School crew never include the girls…

…until you heckle him.

Noah taking out his frustrations over The Patriots loss, on Sponge Bob.

Darpan was being a good dad and polishing his daughters nails as we were saying goodbye to everyone.

We pack up and hop back onto the train, which was filled with people in there underwear.  Looks fun(n’t)!

I like that, “(n’t)”.

Thanks to Darpan and Erica for having us over, always a great time.  Kate would like to thank The Patriots for blowing it, now Noah can retire his jersey for a while.

When fun goes foul.

Those Deaner boys…

That day after New Year’s Day

Chilling, Eating, Friends, Shopping No Comments »

It was the last day of our quick trip to Providence, and Noah was still struggling with Julian’s high chair.

Julian was getting tickled.

…and Joshua was shoveling the stairs.

Unknown sleepy baby.

Separately, there was a board game store in the building.  They had bicycle racing board games…

Dinner.

This was almost a good flick of Julian trying to show the other boys how to break into the toy machine…

Back to the crib for some jamming.

Noah getting into it…

Thanks to The Deaner’s for having us.  It’s always great to see them, hopefully it’s not too stressful to have the Holt tornado come through.

New Years Day

Bright and early New Years Day.

We were all able to rally, some slower then others, for a trip to Bass Pro Shop (in the shadow of the stadium where The Patriots play).  Ben was extra rallied.

I introduced Julian to guns.

Julian checked out some tents.

Goodbye to The Charest’s!!  I hope you enjoyed getting smoked by me in Balderdash!!!  We should make it an annual event!!

Back to The Deaner’s for some chilling, and some bathing, then some sleeping.

New Years Eve in PVD

We left NH to spend New Year’s Eve in Providence with The Charest’s’s and The Deaner Fam.

First thing first, get the kids fed.  Benjamin got right to work.

Julian kept it portable.

Noah was sliding down in Julian’s chair, so he struggled to even see what he was eating.

I showed Noah how we live it up on New Year’s Eve!!

He looked at me like I was crazy.

(Flick by Joshua)

Let the party BEGIN!!! BALDERDASH!!

6 people with kids that’ll have us up early, what do you expect?

Happy New Year!
