If Marie wasn’t born two doors down from us, then she moved there quickly after. She and Louis married 50 years ago, and he joined her in the building that her grandfather, a tailor, bought. We went over one night to spend some time with them after the holidays.

We had a trip this week to the pediatrician (or as I say to Kate “the pediatrist”). The trip didn’t start out well. It was maybe 35º out, and as usually I was rushing to get out and forgot to set Noah up with his blanket. Mom went running when she noticed.

Luckily the rest of the trip went as planned and Noah weighed in at 13 lb. and 14 oz. He’s 25 inches tall and the doctor seemed to think we were doing a good job with him. Phew.

I don’t know how we did it, but we fit all this into our little ole Stratus, and still managed to have a seat next to Noah free so that Kate could sit next to him if she wanted.

Unpacking is SUPER FUN!!!

All good things come to an end. Saturday morning we got up early, had some breakfast, then drove back to New York. It was great to see The Deaners and what they’ve done with their new home. We can’t wait go back.

New Years was pretty chill. Two sets of brand new parents.. we struggled to stay up. We got up on New Years Day, had some bagels, and took a look around The Deaners new town.
