Moving

We’ll be moving over the next couple days so the posts might be thin.  Don’t worry though, we’ll be back up and running soon.

Easter dinner(s) and new apartment preview.

Friends, Grandparents, Holidays 1 Comment »

With Nana and Grampa Holt in town, we went over to Nana and Opa Urban’s for easter lunch and dinner.

My lunch of ham, a taste of burnt skin (?), a wimpy scoop of horseradish (I added more later), and a side of asparagus.

After lunch, and when Noah finished his nap, a bunch of us walked over to the new apartment that Kate, Noah and I are moving to this weekend.

Rainy day, head to Queens

Chilling, Grandparents, Learning 1 Comment »

Saturday was rainy and cold, not a great day for being outside, so after everything was baked for Easter and Noah woke up from his nap we went to the Queens Museum of Art to look around.  Tim and Chris had gone there a few weeks ago and it looked like a good time so we went and poked around.

Brownies…

Group photo in front of the World’s Fair Globe in Flushing Meadows Park, a must for any tourists.  My first attempt at setting my camera on the diaper bag in the seat of the stroller wasn’t straight.  This was my second attempt…

This is my third attempt (“professional” means keep at it until it works).

Nana and Grampa come down from NH for Easter

Chilling, Grandparents 1 Comment »

Nana and Grampa Holt are here, and ready to spend Easter with us over at Nana and Opa (Grampa in German) Urban’s.

Unfortunately it’s a rainy weekend, but we did want to go to Ikea and look at what they have for kitchen cabinets.

We did a little early dinner at Baci & Abbracci, since Noah has been going to bed around 8.  Noah hadn’t napped well, so he was having a rough time of it until he had a little food in him too.

Ingenuity

Chilling, Gear 1 Comment »

Noah has a couple toys that just don’t work on any of his gear.  I guess they are made for different car seats then the one we have, different strollers then the one we have, or different high chairs then we one we have.  They are great toys though, so we rigged one of the toys up with couple chairs.
