Noah Cardiel Holt | My life according to other people

Big news.  Kate got a job!!!  She starts tomorrow and everyone is psyched for her.  She’s been lucky to be home with Noah for the first year of his life, but it wasn’t by design.

The bad part?  With Kate going back to work, Noah needs to find a place to go during the day.  Late last week the search began and options are still being weighed.

The first one was good, and could take Noah right away but only for 3 days a week, but things change quickly and spaces become available all the time I guess, though I’m not sure if that is good or bad.

The second place we went is our first choice, but they might not have room for another 6 months or so…  bummer.  At least the waiting room had plenty of space for walking around.

Don’t judge them by the state of their fish tank.  Everyone there was really nice, it’s close to our apartment, and our friends have sent their two sons there and have been real happy.

The search continues.

Kate and Noah were at the park down the street as I burned through the last of the work I had to get done.  When I was finished I skated down to the park.  Noah was a little curious.

It had been too long since we saw Tim, Ladonna, Chris, and Miles so on Sunday we managed to coax them out here so we could chill in the park.
