Sunday was the annual running of the NYC Marathon. A life changing day for some, just something to do for others.
I knew 5 people running. 2 of which I knew were really looking forward to it, gearing up and training hard. One of those people, Geneva, had the best team manager I’ve ever seen. Nathan ran Team Geneva and even got his parents to come down from NH to help hold the banner!
Look at those sweatshirts!! Dude is serious. You need him in your corner. You can also see the first of a few people I saw that were obviously cheering me on to take good photos. “You are AWESOME”, thanks.
It’s a little upsetting that even though I’m “awesome” I have a really hard time seeing my friends in the crowd of people running. Then all of a sudden, like a golden stag emerging from the morning mist… DAVE!!!
Alright, 2 people down. The first, really more of a colleague/acquaintance, I wasn’t ready to photograph. Now I just have to keep my eyes from glazing over as I tried to find Erik, Erica, and Joshua’s brother Jon.
“Did you see them Noah?”
I really am pretty awesome.
GENEVA!!!
Hard to see anyone from here.
Must have been hard to run by Dumont Burger, so good.
Messy.
We met up with Tara, Lauren, and their friends from South Africa.
“We missed em’, lets get brunch.”
Out of focus South Africans.
Congrats to everyone that ran the marathon. We are really psyched for you guys, even if we didn’t get to see you.
