Brooklyn was looking really good last night. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, but then I realized… THERE’S SNOW!!
Rumor had it that Nana and Opa were decorating their tree, plus they needed some help setting up their new computer, plus we needed an excuse to go out in the snow. So we took our time and walked over to see Nana and Opa. Making sure to first go real fast!!
Then make sure we skid to every stop. Even when we don’t need to stop (and Kate’s a pro, she skids with her eyes closed).
Everything looks good with freshly fallen snow on it. Even garbage…
…but especially lights.
Crazy people come out in the snow too, like giant glowing elves.
And people do crazy things, like leave their windshield wipers up (pet peeve).
We made it safe and sound and after a quick change Noah was ready for some milk from Nana before going to sleep.
Noah say, “Thank you Nana and Opa for letting me sleep at your house so that my tired looking parents could sleep in.”

After having lunch with Dave, Michele and Sebastian out on Long Island, Sebastian was trying to remember the moment by taking some photos of everyone.
Exploring the restaurants Christmas tree.
Checking out the local skate shop.
…and the bookstore.
…and checking out the cup cake shop.
So many to choose from.
Thanks to Dave, Michele, and Sebastian for inviting us out. We’ll be back soon.

Oh NYC, why must you push good people to want backyards big houses?
Dave, Michele, and Sebastian have upgraded their lifestyle, and even though we miss them, we are really psyched to have yet another place to vacation. The other weekend we took a drive out to visit them.
Sebastian was still napping when we got there so Noah had a chance to rummaged though his toys.
Then we took a tour while Sebastian was getting ready. Kate was also trying to help Michele decide on some colors to paint some rooms.
Sebastian was ready to get some lunch.
Noah was sick of his car seat.
Tomorrow I’ll post the rest of this adventure, including exciting things like lunch.. and cupcakes! Stay tuned.

It was a rainy Saturday, not much going on, but we thought maybe Noah would like to see Santa so we trekked into the city.
The line wasn’t long…
..but neither was Noah’s patience for this “Santa” dude.
Santa was a little easier to deal with from the safety of Mom’s lap with a lollipop.
..but we definitely weren’t getting any photo ops.
To deal with the failure of our mission, we drowned our disappointment in some donuts from the farmer’s market.
