On Friday NYC’s schools were closed and the city was crippled up to their ankles in 8-10 inches of snow! All roads to Noah’s day care were also rendered impassible, yet in the face of all these mounting challenges, we survived.
So Noah and I dressed in funny clothes and took a walk to Prospect Park.
Noah in the backpack, ready to go.
All the snow storms have been given nicknames lately. The last one was called the “Snowpocalypse”. This latest storm was dubbed the “Snownami”. Someone on the Colbert Report had the best name so far for a storm though.. “Snowtorious B.I.G.” (for those people in NH and Kentucky, Notorious B.I.G. was an influential rapper who was tragically killed in his prime… “rap” is an urban form of musical expression… music is that think that comes out of the wine jug when your toothless friend blows in it…).
New Yorkers are amazing.. I saw 4 maybe 5 cross country skiers. All of them moving slower than I was walking.
Agreed.
A corny, out of focus look at us.
Somehow our car managed to get buried again.

GREAT pictures, that looked so fun Noah. Looks like you may have taken a few falls in the snow but no tears, that is great. Just remember don’t stick your tongue on a tennis court, post or anything metal, it will stick….ouch. Looks like a great day with your dad! I am sure he can’t wait until you can help shovel that car out….bummer on that. I love you and your so adorable I just want all these pictures!!!! XO AM
