Kate’s (Mom’s) friend Erika ran a 1/2 marathon in Brooklyn the other weekend and to help her recover we co-hosted a small brunch downstairs in Ryan and Ellen’s backyard.

Ryan made Lou’s day by giving him this Darth Vader case.

Lou is into Star Wars.

More into it than he is into “brunch”.

Ryan and Ellen’s cat “Pauline” wasn’t into “brunch” either.

She was in the next yard over, trying to get some sleep.

Don’t worry though, Noah was into it.  Could you blame him?

Kate’s close friend, Sebastian’s Mom, and Dave’s wife Michele is about to give birth.  To celebrate her last day at her NYC office, a bunch of us got together at Hill Country, a BBQ spot.  I picked up Noah from day care and we made our way into the city.

Apples to hold us over until we can get some pork.
