The other weekend Nathan and Geneva called and invited Noah and I (Kate was out) to get some ice cream with them.  “Them” included Nate and Geneva’s dogs Bowie and Iman.

Mint chip…  get out of my head…  Soo.. goood..

Those kids finished their ice cream and had to handle some other things so Noah and I went to the park.  When we got to the park at first I thought all the toys were gone, then I realized some kids had organized them all into one corner of the park.  Amazing.

Wardrobe failure.

Is this a beetle?  What is it doing?  I bet Noah’s Uncle Matt would know.  Maybe it’s eating something… maybe it’s cloning itself!

Jerry and Amanda’s

On the way back from Long Island the other weekend (see here) we stopped by to see Jerry and Amanda’s newish place, with it’s fancy elevator…

…and fancy long hallways…

…fancy advice on their column…

…and fancy tall mirrors that make vain little boys kiss themselves (the tape on the floor is to measure off a second bedroom they are having built..  fancy..).

Not a great crop or photo, but it isn’t often that Noah rides a giant smoking bunny.

Luna!

We left a messy mark on the chalkboard column for Noah.

Then everyone want back to our apt. so Noah could go to sleep.  Our building isn’t as fancy, but there was a giant Batman in the trash.  That count for anything?

Nate came over too for an spontaneous meeting of the Brooklyn branch of the noahholt.com/blog fan club, apologies to those that could not attend.

Last Saturday we met up with Kristin, Tony, Hannah, and Bradley at their house on Long Island.

Noah was psyched on the bucket and shovels they got him.

Lunch.

Waiting for lunch.

Eating lunch with help from phone books.

“Do I drive it like this Grampa?” Noah said.  “Yeaahh Noaahhh, except it needs to be red!” said (my cousin) Jasper.

Kate and Kristin grew up together.  They probably used to pretend to change baby diapers…

Noah taking it to the big kids pool.

Bradley and his wobbly front tooth.
