Trip to the city

Noah and I took a trip to the city the other week to see our boy Mike and pick up a present for Kate.  Little dudes teeth seemed to be bothering him.

Peep that quality Rest Store packaging.  All that for a wedding band.

Noah wanted to see that “BIG!” bird with a patriotic Pendeen.

Thanks Mike

Lunch in the ‘burg

Amanda and Brian were in town from the West Coast so Noah and I met up with them for lunch on a scorcher of a day.

Did I mention that it was hot and that this was the a/c for the place?

..and we had to wait!  At least they let Noah draw on the table.

Sophie’s yard

A patriotic walk to pick up Noah from his new day care last week.

On the way home I got a text message from Andy (Savannah’s dad).  Some of the parents from the old day care were hanging out in the shade, trying to avoid the oppressive heat.

I’ll admit it Charlotte, I was hoping this balloon would break…  sorry.

Parenting, with coffee.

Noah, Theo, and Sophie.

Alison, in the pool on the left, and her 3 week old daughter Lira on the right in the arms of Lira’s grandmother.

Before little dude knew..

As little dude started figuring it out.

When it was inevitable.

Last ditch effort to break out (..the patches on his arms have numbing cream to make drawing blood a little less traumatic).

Not photographed… trauma.  Luckily, Noah recovered well.

Noah measured 31.5 inches tall and weighed in at 21 lbs. 14 oz.  That’s 4 oz. less than he weighed 6 months ago at his last check up, but I guess it’s common because kids are more active in the summer.
