Saturday morning.  Walking over to see Nana and Opa with Jon.

Kate and Nana were off talking, so Noah, Jon and I played trains with Opa.

“See Nana.”

Lunch at Bark.

Birthday party for Ryder.

Wiley, showing us the Jell-o they made in Packers colors… foreshadowing?

Ryder’s cake.

Where Noah stood.

Noah barely trying some Jell-o.

A little game of “pin the tail on the donkey”.

Then Jon and I had to go, Jon had a flight to catch back to Texas.

Great to see you Jon, and thanks to Susan and Richard for inviting us over!

Friday night with the boys

On Friday night Jon came to stay with us. He was visiting from San Antonio, TX and we got him on the last night of his week long couch surfing tour.

Noah showing Jon how to pretend to cook the Play-Doh.

Nathan came over too, and they all played “hippos” before bed.

Solid times with the boys.

Remember when you used to have to sit in front of your computer to video chat with someone?  Noah doesn’t.

See Mindy, Noah’s moose.

See, dinosaurs, leopards, and horses.

See, Play-doh shapes.

Last Saturday we geared up to hike (in the slush and snow) over to see Jerry and Amanda.  Amanda is due any day now, so we wanted to give them a little taste of why it’s not worth it… I’m kidding.. (ish).

Amanda, this is what it’s like getting ready.

Lil’ shy dude.

Kate and Amanda talked about the lastest in parenting books, and Noah drew on some paper, and played with some toys.

Jerry and I hid behind our camera’s and talked about how we were going to take over the world.

Then it was time to go. Noah put his coat on, I mean… got back in the backpack.

One last look at that belly before it’s gone.

Here’s a random photo for you to look at while you think about how wonderful it is that a new life will be coming into the world.
