Stylish moped.

Sunday, after getting Noah’s haircut.

Neon grass.

When we got home we showed Kate the new sunglasses we bought.

Then we checked out the work she was doing…

..and gave her a hand.

The end.

Sweats

Noah’s kit to run to the store between rain storms on Saturday was pretty impressive.

He calls those his “soft pants”.

Friday Dinner with The Savas’

Cleaning up after dropping a cracker, good boy.

Checking out some construction.

After stopping off at home quick for a shirt change and some groceries, we went over to see Savannah (who was also getting a shirt change).

I had to keep reminding Noah that baby Derby’s seat was NOT a potty.

Derby, after a bath, eying Noah and Savannah’s dinner.

Good times, and a great way to get over a long week. Thanks for having us over Andy and Aransas!

Mother’s Day with The Urban’s

On Sunday afternoon, before heading out to Emmett and Lisa’s, we wished Nana Holt a Happy Mother’s Day via video conference.

After a quick nap on the drive out, Noah had some business to take care.

In other news, Noah and I came up with a new nickname for Uncle Matt. We are calling him “Uncle Bugs” (he works for the USDA looking for microscopic insects in potato fields). Here Noah is asking Uncle Bugs about this dead bee he found.

Opa got dragged into bug hunting.

A gift (for Noah) from Aunt Lisa.

While we were celebrating Mother’s Day, why not celebrate some birthdays too.

Thanks for having us all over Emmett and Lisa, and thanks to everyone for the great birthday gifts and cards.

Mother’s Day Morning

Sunday was not only Mother’s Day, it was also Kate’s Birthday, and this year Noah really out-did himself. He came home from school on Friday with a bunch of great things he had made.

A custom pot with mystery plants.

A custom pot holder.

A great card…

…with an awkward quote.

Mystery food stuffs.

Which turned out to be a rice-crispy-treat-type-thing made with healthy sunflower seeds.

Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day!!!  (Sorry for shoving a camera in your face so early in the morning!)
