On Tuesday I brought in the cupcakes that Noah and Kate made for a quick (early) birthday party classmates.

It’s a tough time of year for birthday parties. More that half of Noah’s classmates were away or out for the day. It worked out for the kids that were there though, they got bigger goodie bags.

As everyone sang Happy Birthday, Noah pretended to sleep.

Louis’ Birthday

Kate and Noah making some cupcakes on a wet and rainy Sunday.

In the afternoon we walked over to Louis’ for his birthday party.

A record setting 8 inches of rain fell.

Louis showing us his toys.

I was tempted to just let the rain wash Noah off…

Happy Birthday Louis, thanks for inviting us!

Jon posted a sleepy photo of Noah on his blog. The second photo is great too, it’s just.. the subject is questionable.

Last Saturday, a trip to Robert Moses Beach.

Lunch.

After digging holes for a while, we went to check out a lighthouse.

Then we had to walk through this..

Noah had a lot of questions about why people weren’t wearing clothes, I think we deflected them well.

Couple a’ bird watchers.

We went back and sat on the beach for a little longer, but as the clouds got thicker, and the wind got stronger, we made our way back to the car. Lil dude wasn’t ready to leave.
