Saturday morning, in the arms of Nana Holt, seen though a camera lens with a lot of toddler fingerprints on it.

Nana and Grampa brought a present from Nina and Jasper.

Some great new clothes.

Nana and Grampa brought a present too.

Outside with Grampa.

Singing Happy Birthday to Nana T.

Chelsea skatepark.

The carousel at Chelsea Piers.

All of the animals on the carousel are native to New York State. Noah chose the falcon.

Kate chose the skunk.

Noah’s second choice was the fox.

The Richard Serra show at Gagosian.

The elevator up to The High Line.

After The High Line we had dinner with the Savas’.

Always great to have Nana and Grampa in town.

Last Sunday Noah’s scooter got a custom sticker job, for security.

Noah zips along on his scooter, until we see a grate, then he jumps off and pushes the scooter across.

We met up with Jerry, Amanda, and Mae

Mae getting so close to my camera that her eye’s start to cross.

Lil’ dude enjoying some grapes…

..until.

Storm King

On Saturday Kate rallied us to drive up to Storm King, a sculpture park about an hour north of NYC. It’s an amazing place, especially on a warm Fall day without a cloud in the sky.

Lunch photo by Kate.

The rock wall above, by Andy Goldsworthy has great dimensions, 5 ft by 2,278 ft. If you’ve never seen “Rivers and Tides” I highly recommend it (Netflix has it).

Richard Serra has three or four of these there.

Noah is picking the Buddha’s nose…

Noah and I were really into this Mirror Fence by Alyson Shotz.

Trip to the playground last Sunday while Kate was at yoga.

Tooling around the Atlantic Antic, a street fair on one of Brooklyn’s busiest streets.

Lil’ tipper.

Checking out some old buses.

Watching other kids break rules.

Just like all the NYC buses, people pushing on as you try to get off.

That’s it.

A couple Sunday’s ago Grant, Kate, Oliver, and Maxine invited a bunch of us over.

I’m determined to get Noah hyped on his scooter.

Spider-boy was there..

Happy Derbs, aka the girl of many nicknames, aka Derbils.

Maxine, Spider-boys sister.

Chester.

Derby is getting into this walking thing.

“You gonna help me or just keep playing with that camera?” Sorry Derbs.

Cake with Amelie (who is in Noah’s class at Hanson Place).

Spider-boy unmasked.

Thanks to Grant and Kate for inviting us over!
