A couple weeks ago we made our annual trip to see Santa. After waiting for a while in the cold, Noah nervously waiting our turn inside.
Signing in.
On deck…
The big guy.
Santa pulled Noah up onto his lap and they sat awkwardly for a second.
Until Santa had something for him.
Later, a private conversation at the playground.
Canal Street.
Dumplings in Chinatown for lunch.
Cannoli for dessert.
Living it up.

It’s the end of October. Noah’s class is going on a field trip to the Bronx Zoo.
Young toughs waiting for the bus.
Mrs. Bartolome rounding up the troops.
Giraffes, and ostriches, and zebras…
Hecklers.
They even steal my hat…
Monorail.
Tiger.
That smell?
Elephants!
The two dual-language Spanish classes together.
Done.

Halloween, it brings out the creepiest people…
and this year it brought us the creepiest grandparents, Nana and Grampa Holt. Here they are sneaking up on Noah as we took a family stroll through Prospect Park.
Just a leisurely stroll.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Greeting babies.
Helping others.

Back in October we met up with Nooria and her family for the Raptor Fest in Prospect Park.
Not all of the raptors were so vicious looking.
Meesha!
Flying demonstrations.
A while red-tailed hawk looking on.
Distraction.
A bald eagle with his freshly scratched handler.
These kids.

Last post from our trip to NH back in August. It’s a scary one!
Noah entered the “tractor pull”.
His competition was strong.
Seriously.
This guy won. He could have peddled that cinderblock to those mountains.
Spectator.
Skunk Hot Dog for lunch! What’s not to like.
A photo of Noah caught avoiding his Skunk Hot Dog on local television.
