Sleep training day 2

Bummed 1 Comment »

Last night was our second day of putting Noah down at 9 pm and not going to him until 6 am.  It was a rough night again, we first heard him a little before 2 and he fought sleep until after 4…  This time he was trying to “talk” more, mixed with shouting and some crying tossed in for good measure.  When he woke up at 7, Kate brought him out to our pull out couch and he ate, smiled, napped, and played for a while.

Who sleeps with earings in?

Sleep training

Last night (on the advice of our pediatrician) we put Noah in his crib at 9 pm, and didn’t pick him up, or feed him, or even talk to him until 6 am.  It was brutal.  He was great from 9 pm until about 12:30 a.m., but after that no one really got back to sleep.  Luckily he doesn’t seem to hate us, and hopefully he will be sleeping through the night by the end of the week.
