The other weekend we needed to take care of some really boring stuff, like shopping for a mattress.
The “day-dreaming until dad tells me to take of my shoes” test.
The “bouncing until someone yells at me” test.
Not sure how the “walking from one mattress to another” tests applies to us.
The “withstand corniness” test.
Making a decision.
We are not chair shopping!
Later at the mall… 3 year olds know what typewriters are?
Noah ran off to find Kate and tell her about the typewriter.
So. bored.

Noah wanted to see if he would be tall enough to go into the play area at Ikea.
In his boots he was tall enough, but then he decided that chilling with me would be more fun.
Until I left him alone in the cart to go ask a question.
Later we walked over to see Benoit, Julia, and Louis.
The boys had an intimate dinner.
Then some play time.
Noah’s working on his graffiti tag.
We had a great time, but it got late quick.
Thanks for having us Benoit and Julia!

I got Noah some new boots. I saw them and couldn’t resist, my wallet opening itself and spewing the money necessary. I put up little fight.
Test drive.
Water-resistant is not the same as water-proof.
Hair cut.
While Noah was in the chair, the weather turned.
Back home, dried off, psyched to open the mail.
Auntie Mindy, generous as always. Thank you!

Our first morning in Bar Harbor was a foggy one.
After cleaning up we took a quick hike to The Bass Harbor Lighthouse.
Lunch in Northeast Harbor.
Seal Cove.
Bar Harbor.
Chores back at the house.
Great first full day.
