We had a trip this week to the pediatrician (or as I say to Kate “the pediatrist”). The trip didn’t start out well. It was maybe 35º out, and as usually I was rushing to get out and forgot to set Noah up with his blanket. Mom went running when she noticed.
Luckily the rest of the trip went as planned and Noah weighed in at 13 lb. and 14 oz. He’s 25 inches tall and the doctor seemed to think we were doing a good job with him. Phew.

Today was another weigh in… The medical establishment wants to see how Noah is growing. So much pressure. Luckily Noah is calm under pressure (unless by pressure you mean going to bed, getting in his car seat, or being hungry).
Luckily Noah passed all of these “tests”. He is growing nicely. He is 24.5 inches long (which is in the 67th percentile for kids his age) and weighs 12 lbs. 8 oz. (30th percentile). He also got two shots which we can say he was less then calm for.
Kate had a hard time seeing Noah cry after his shots so we went for ice cream to help ease the pain.

Noah had his (almost) one month check up today, and he’s growing well.
Last check up he was 7 lbs 14 oz, and in 2 weeks he’s gained a whole pound. He now weighs in at 8 lbs 14 oz, is 21 1/2 inches long, and is in great health.
Next check up will be in a month.
(I catch myself putting exclamation points in every post title.)

We brough Noah to his second check up last week. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and seems to be doing well. His next check up is September 17th when he will be a whopping 1 month old.
