Waking up in Providence at the Deaners house the morning after an amazing Patriots game. Noah left Julian a drawing.

Waiting for breakfast.

The boys with their own table. Noah had crepes.

The garnish left with us.

After breakfast we checked out Joshua’s new office!

Sorry for not taking better flicks of the space. Joshua did a great job with this, it really looks great.

Noah liked the big chalkboard.

Noah brainstorming Joshua’s new logo.

Saying goodbye…

On the way home we made a stop at the Mystic Aquarium.

They have 4 beluga whales!!

Feeding rays.

Mocking a sea lion.

An octopus and it’s toy.

A few more minutes with the beluga’s before we got back in the car.

Back at the end of August we spent a morning at the ribbon cutting ceremony for PS133. The building had undergone a 2 year renovation and this was going to be the first peek. It was also hitting Noah that things were going to change.

The chancellor of New York City schools is a popular guy. We never really saw him.

Heading into the playground.

Walking the halls.

Great new library.

It was great to see the new building, and great for Noah to meet new people and walk around the new school. After a quick/hectic/short tour, I brought Noah back to Hanson Place, grabbed an orange bib, and met his Hanson Place classmates at a park.

Almost a month ago now.. in NH, on Noah’s birthday.

Noah watches “My Pretty Pony” and talks about it so Kate got him a few of the ponies, when he opened it he said “but Mom.. these are for girls” as he played with them.

For his birthday, Nana and Grampa Holt wanted to take Noah to Santa’s Village.

Growing.

3-D theater.

This was a fast ride that Noah wanted to go on, and then reconsidered.

Aunt Mindy helped him bounce back.

The view of Mt. Washington from the top of the ferris wheel.

Next two photos by Kate.

We found all of the elves too.

Certified.

Thanks Nana and Grampa, great day.

Early August, back when it was still Summer, we spent the afternoon up at The Cloisters.

Finding a lunch spot.

“The Cloisters museum and gardens, the branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe, was assembled from architectural elements, both domestic and religious, that largely date from the twelfth through the fifteenth century.” – source

Ivory is pretty amazing, and for the record, best kept on the animals it belongs to.

It looks so buttery though.

Noah telling about his favorite animal with tusks or something.

He made a lot more sense when I finished this.

Infinitely intricate.

Silly.

Saw this guy on the way out.
