A morning swim out east visiting Mike and Kam.
Animal rescue!
Mission accomplished. Diego would be proud.
Inside, having lunch and drawing for Kam.
Noah and Kam really hit it off, it was an emotional good-bye.

After spending two nights sleeping in a tent, these two still look pretty good. I told them they’d survive. Fancy pastries for breakfast may have helped. After breakfast, checking out the beach in Amagansett. For lunch we met up with Mike, Kam, and “Mr. Will” for a boat ride. Sleeping quarters. Stealing Kam’s glasses. That dude. At dinner, waiting for a table. Thanks for cruising us around Mr. Will!

The weekend before Noah started Kindergarten we went out on Long Island for a couple nights of camping. On the way out we had some car trouble and Uncle Bugs met up with us to help out. After the car was handled, we grabbed dinner. After dinner we drove to Cedar Point County Park to camp for the night. Almost perfect right? Too bad we couldn’t have picked better neighbors. Always good to be camping.

Noah’s NH Birthday Party at Camp FiveArt, Auntie Mindy, Eating, Exercise, Family, Friends, Gear, Grandparents, Milestones, Partying, Psyched, Vacation 3 Comments »Up bright and early, running out to the motor home to wake up Aunt Mindy so we could help her set up for the party. Aunt Mindy had put together a great “camp” themed birthday party for Noah. No detail overlooked. Gift bags. My cousin Julie made this great edible shark. Camp fire cupcakes. Running around with Jaycee. Thanks Aunt Mindy for putting together such a great party.

Brunch in Red HookArt, Chilling, Eating, Exploring, Friends, Gear, Grandparents Comments Off on Brunch in Red HookAfter Clio’s birthday we rode our bikes to Red Hook for brunch at Fort Defiance with Kate’s friend Jen who was in town from Las Vegas. This spot is good. Real good. Tulane alumni: Kate, St. John, the owner of Fort Defiance, and Jen (with her friend Mary’s son Noah). After brunch we walked over to BWACÂ to see the newest show. Nana T. had a nice piece up at the entrance. Jen getting a shot of the Statue of Liberty for her sons. More great work by Nana T. We came across this place that runs a digital photo booth and the Noahs got sucked in. Mary, Jen, and Kate took a turn. I let this happen quick too.
