After the party for Nana T., we stayed out on Long Island and met up with Brooklyn friends for a tour of carved pumpkins.

Chester and Savannah.

Great fall night.

So many pumpkins.

Van Gogh’s “The Starry Night“.

This was at the end, I think the carvers ran out of ideas.

Recapping our adventure.

We came together, a few days late, to celebrate Opa’s birthday with some belated Happy Father’s Day undertones.

The morning after Nana and Grampa Holt’s anniversary party, which also happened to be Father’s Day.

Riding around with Zach and Dillon.

Something for me.

One hand-painted Jamaican shell too.

Signing Nana and Grampa Holt’s chairs.

I like this one.

Jasper’s was pretty good too.

After some basketball drills it was back in the car for the ride back to NYC. Vacation done.

Pier 6, waiting for the ferry to Governor’s Island.

It was a bit of a wait.

Still waiting.

We went to Governor’s Island to see Ryan, Ellen, and Ren. Not sure why everyone else was trying to get there.

This woman, in typical NYC fashion, brought a megaphone to serenade the island goers with opera. Seriously.

Noah knew what to do though, he walked up and snatched that megaphone from her and showed her how it’s done.
Medium high-1’s (like a mellow high-5, get it?)

They don’t get it Ren. It’s not important though.

Hanging out down in Dumbo for Mother’s Day.

Playground congestion.

Noah ruining some family photos.

Big kid swing.

Good times.
