Mother’s Day Morning

Art, Holidays, Sappy 2 Comments »

Sunday was not only Mother’s Day, it was also Kate’s Birthday, and this year Noah really out-did himself. He came home from school on Friday with a bunch of great things he had made.

A custom pot with mystery plants.

A custom pot holder.

A great card…

…with an awkward quote.

Mystery food stuffs.

Which turned out to be a rice-crispy-treat-type-thing made with healthy sunflower seeds.

Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day!!!  (Sorry for shoving a camera in your face so early in the morning!)

Spending some quality time with Nana and Grampa Holt before they drove back to NH the other weekend.

Puppet show.

Encouraged, Noah did an encore.

Always great to see Nana and Grampa, always sad to see them go.

Saturday night, after visiting the playground, we had a party to get to.

…and friends to play with.

Savannah!

Look at this AMAZING collection of bibs that the kids wore during dinner.

Cake!

Happy Birthdayyyy Ms. Aransasssss…

Things got wild.

Sappy good-byes.

Ok kids, enough.

Happy Birthday Aransas! Thanks for inviting us over.

Saturday afternoon at Underhill Playground

Saturday afternoon Noah and I took a walk over to Underhill Playground to see what was going on.

It was fun to watch Noah try out all the toys that were a little too big for him in the Fall, but it was really great to see our friends. Sara!

…and Theo!

When we were leaving, Sara gave Noah all kinds of love. Touching noses…

…and kisses on the cheek.

I guess she misses us too.

Jerry’s “toys” are serious.

Luna getting some attention too.

So. Sappy.

Thanks for having us Jerry and Amanda!
