Last Sunday we pulled the trigger and got a tree.

Poor Lil’ Dude, he’s a lip biter just like his old man (photo by Kate, who doesn’t bite her lip when she’s trying to concentrate).

Noah thought we should decorate the tree with his alphabet flash cards.

I’m going to go ahead and take full credit for hastily choosing this tree. It’s a runt of a tree, but it’s our tree…

Last Saturday we decided to get a Christmas tree. Even though we won’t be here for Christmas Day, the apartment beautification committee agreed that it could brighten the mood of around here. First stop was Grand Army Plaza, and right away I saw a perfectly good tree.

But it was “too big”.

Then I thought Kate was getting creative. You know, thinking outside the box with some kind of spinach tree, but she had just roped me into some regular type shopping.

Crafty neighbors.

This one is already decorated! Bonus!

We could make our own tree for $0.

No decisions made.

To the hardware store we go.

Do scary giant fake rats sell glue traps?

So bored.
