Those Deaner boys…

That day after New Year’s Day

Chilling, Eating, Friends, Shopping Comments Off on That day after New Year’s Day

It was the last day of our quick trip to Providence, and Noah was still struggling with Julian’s high chair.

Julian was getting tickled.

…and Joshua was shoveling the stairs.

Unknown sleepy baby.

Separately, there was a board game store in the building.  They had bicycle racing board games…

Dinner.

This was almost a good flick of Julian trying to show the other boys how to break into the toy machine…

Back to the crib for some jamming.

Noah getting into it…

Thanks to The Deaner’s for having us.  It’s always great to see them, hopefully it’s not too stressful to have the Holt tornado come through.

New Years Day

Bright and early New Years Day.

We were all able to rally, some slower then others, for a trip to Bass Pro Shop (in the shadow of the stadium where The Patriots play).  Ben was extra rallied.

I introduced Julian to guns.

Julian checked out some tents.

Goodbye to The Charest’s!!  I hope you enjoyed getting smoked by me in Balderdash!!!  We should make it an annual event!!

Back to The Deaner’s for some chilling, and some bathing, then some sleeping.

Trip to W%#@art

Funny thing happens in some small towns I know.  These big stores comes in selling all kinds of goods, and other pharmacies, clothing stores, hardware stores start to close.  Then even the people that owned the stores that closed start shopping at the new store.  Thing is…  No one really know “who” owns this new store, and they don’t sit on community boards, or show up to high school basketball games to cheer on their kids, or sponsor local fishing tournaments.  In the end things seems like they work out, and I try to make a conscious choice to just shop somewhere else which is easy for me because we usually bring everything we need.  Then somehow we end up there anyway.  Drawn in.  Like South Park characters.  (see also “Meh“)

(Fake) Flower Aisle.

Noah picked out a .10¢ pumpkin.

The toys in pink boxes aisle.

Before we had Noah I never noticed all these “Family restrooms”, nice invention.

Next was lunch at The Dairy Bar, with Sarah and Oliver.

Amazing onion rings.

Amazing haddock sandwich.

Home to Nana and Grampa’s for a nap.
