Imagine a life where almost every morning there are presents waiting for you when you wake up.

Realizing you can’t eat all of the candy in sight? Bummer.

At least someone was there to console Noah (after she laid the rules on him).

Next up, partying at Nana T. and Opa’s.

Back to life in NYC after various vacations.

The cool thing to do right now is check out as many pre-kindergarten programs as we can. Snacking on the way to a school the other night.

I judge schools based solely on the introductory movies they have us sit though (totally fair).

Noah wanted to be anywhere else.

I wasn’t into it, Kate was. I blame it on the full moon…

…and the trek it would take to get there everyday.

Home for a day, dressing Noah in a shirt I bought him while I was in Colorado.

Then Kate and I are off to Mexico where I am shooting a wedding.

It’s tough letting go.

Luckily we left Noah in the more than capable hands of Nana T. and Opa.

Something changed at Noah’s school. It used to be that every kid was psyched to see their parents when they came to pick them up at the end of the day. Some, including Noah, would even come running up for a hug from time to time. These days, it feels like every parent has to convince their kids to not only leave day care, but get dressed. Some even have to convince their kids to walk home.

Yesterday Noah hid behind the door to the classroom when I showed up.

At least it ended well.
