Boston

The other weekend we drove up to Boston. On the way Noah got sick twice, ruining both of the outfits we brought for him. I think he was just trying to get some new clothes.

Kate, grossed out from rinsing Noah’s nasty clothes. Noah psyched on his new kit.

Noah fell asleep in the car on the drive over to see Sarah and Oliver…

Sarah, Oliver, and Oliver’s sister Anna made fresh pasta.

Our dirty car.

Thanks to Sarah and Oliver for a great night of amazing pasta and emergency laundry.

Kate was very confident in her footwear choice as we took a bathroom break on our drive to Providence.

Noah and I were a little embarrassed…

Just kidding…  Fast forward to Noah making secret drawings with a white crayon at lunch.

Our pizza’s.

Noah’s pizza.

In Providence with The Deaner’s getting some coffee.

Back at The Deaner house we played a bunch of games that Amanda brings home from work.

The masked dude that scared Joshua when he went out to grill dinner.

Our NYC party!!

Never psyched to leave my parents house, but we had to head back to NYC.

Tough goodbyes.

Not my best flick, but this was a scene I saw almost every day for 18 years.

To make it worse, NYC was a mess.

Lunch in Brattleboro, VT.  This park is a lot warmer in the summer.

Fast forward 4 hours and 20 min.

Grampa plowing.

Dinner at Nina and Jasper’s house.

Playing with the puzzle that Nina’s dad made for her when she was a girl.

Whiskey and apples.

The other weekend we packed into the car with Nathan and Geneva and trekked up to Tuthilltown Distillery for a little tour and tasting.

I think it was as I shot this flick that Noah realized that this “tour” was going to be super boring for him.

So he played a little game of parent-pong, being passed between Kate and I as we took turns taking him outside to run around.

Even climbing on the barrels was boring.

After lunch, some apple and pumpkin picking at Tantillo’s Farm as people fell from the sky.

More people jumping from perfectly good planes.

Geneva and Noah hunting ladybugs.

Sorry Nate, I wasn’t trying to edit your face out of this post… but I gotta go with the gems.  You know?

Thanks to Nathan and Geneva for planning the trip!
